today was supposed to be abusy day... supposed to work at the tuition centre this morning... mum drove me there.. only to realise there wasnt anyone there.. called my boss, all he said was i could go home... haizZ no money to earn... supposed to give tuition in the afternoon but i was just too tired to postpone to other day... so again no money to earn... den finally, in the evening, met yanli to go watch the tiger cup...

haven been at the national stadium for a long long time... the last time i was there was for SAF day... boring evening... somemore super heavy rain.. everyone was soaked.. but still gotta be there.. okay back to tiger cup.. the atmosphere at the stadium was fantastic... really felt the atmosphere... the boos and the cheers.. the endless kallang roars and waves... a pity this is the last major activity for this historical stadium... too bad i've never had the chance to experience national day there... must be overwhelming...

the soccer game itself was rather boring... i have one conclusion to make... singapore plays boring football... singaporeans are lazy.. they do not run and support their front men.. and defenders like to watch and stare.. all they do is pump the ball up front and hope for a lucky bounce... suxX.. but sometimes pretty football doesnt win matches.. but i gotta praise the foreign imports.. they seem to be the only ones working hard for singapore... thanks....

today up till now is also a nothing day... except i managed to agree on $400/mth for tuition with my cousin... 3 hrs per lesson abt 8 lessons per mth... he very stingy one... my rate is $20 per hr.. and i teaching 2 subj, sec somemore... so shld be $480 one... for 8 lessons one,,, cut to $400 liaozZ.. and i just realise he is going to pay me by month... so if got more den 8 lessons that month is he gonna pay me xtra?? i doubt so.. stingy fella...

okie.. gotta say something about my old desktop... did a little rejuvenation for it few days back.. now it has a 17in flat panel monitor... wireless network... wireless keyboard & mouse.. quite cool rite?? hahaa.. the keyboard and mouse very mini... hahaaa..

today is practically the most mentally exhausting day i have ever been thru... woke up really early in the morning.. for wat?? to go down to HDB hub for sale of my old flat... den go lawyer's office to settle some documents... den accompany wanyang & marcus to army market to do some pre-enlistment shopping.. i persuaded them out of most stuff.. cos no point.. they are given free by the army... after that we went katong for bowling.. mentally very shagged.. very hard to focus...

took cab to tj.. dun wanna take bus.. cos i tot late liaozZ... but when reach there.. the kids are still mass dancing... learning stage only somemore... yah.. luckily met lisi @ bus stop so chat with her lor... den saw fung bring the vball guys off for a run.. hahaaa.. not my cup of tea... i'll just stay for the chat... hahaa... more fun talking to lisi.. i'm mentally not prepared o run also... hate to run.. hay joined us soon after...

2nd day of 2005.. and wat hve i done?? nothing much actually... i played bball in the morning... kena trashed almost every game... too short... no rebounds=>no game.. kindda suxX.. the heavy rain wasnt helping either.. at least we were playing under cover... met lisi for lunch... not much laughter from her... she's having a little problems herself.. but the good thing is she's the kind who would pour her heart out to frens willingly.. think she felt better after talking to me?? hehee.. i hope lar.. hahaa...

spent the rest of the day sleeping... now watching news... it really hasnt been a wonderful start to the new year.. thanks to the earthquake & tsunami... just look at the lives that were lost... that's just part of the picture... just imagine u were a fishermen who went out to sea for fishing come back home find everything gone!! house, wife, children all gone... that devastation... guess this is when ppl will need their god most... as a free thinker... i have no god to turn to.. but i believe in the ability of oneself to make the difference... ppl's will to survive will thrive and things would recover soon..

Oh yah.. Singapore got into the finals of the Tiger Cup.. BUT.. i'm too optimistic after wat i have seen in the semis.. looks like shit.. hahaa... let's play vball...

had an interesting new yr's eve actually... went to marina for dinner.. with yanli, hay, wanyang, rachel, clarise and to my surprise.. alison too... steamboat & bbq... food aint too fantastic.. but still acceptable lar.. $12/pax actually wanted to choose another restaurant one with more food variety... but that one we finally went looks a little more hygenic.. dear's idea.. hahaa.. hay was super late... expected though... when we were halfway into our food.. he was still at home.. rubbish rite??

we met up with ZZ at somerset mrt after dinner.. she brought a little gal along.. baoyi, age 4, really shy... best of all ZZ really looked like a young mother bringing her kid out.. and hay seemed like the father... hahaa.. happy family.. plan was actually to go find tickets for movie.. but my bet was tickets would unavailable... and i was rite!! i was glad to see ZZ... but she couldnt stay late.. so she was like with us for almost an hr.. den had to leave liaozZ... oh yah... the kid seems to like dear... she only allowed her to carry her and bring her around other den ZZ... hahaa..

after ZZ & kid left.. we walked to plaza sing to look for tics again.. still not avail.. i already said gotta book tic liaozZ... no one believe... no one wanna plan for program also... haizZ.. am i to blame for not taking initiative??

finally, finally.. all came to my place for wine & tv... watched some old stephen chow show.. laff laff laff... den alison found an edison film and she was stucked... she was real cute... ice wine was really nice... no wonder it's called dessert wine... it's really sweet... best after meals... den we also had red wine... red wine aint really that nice... i heated up some satay for them too... that was surprisingly well received.. hehee... now that u ppl have already eaten them.. it's leftover from xmas!!! hehee.. oh yah... rachel had her share of merci chocs too... think she liked it...

clarise was the first to knock out... most were KO'd halfway thru the edison show... only alison was going strong... her prince charming wat... haha... finally all KO'd except wanyang.. heard he drank wine and read storybook thru'out the nite... impressive... anyway.. he seldom has the chance to stay out...

most of us woke up only around 9plus... den we went for dimsum breakfast... den the gathering finally ended... kindda sad that lisi could not come... her laughter will definitely do good.. hehee...
