Training Day

TA1 training today.. but not many turned up.. only 5 gals.. and one of them dun think she can cope with volleyball.. but the other 4 are quite keen.. all newbies.. so i was focusing on their basics.. basically to go low when receiving.. spend almost the whole session doing the same stuff.. but i believe they had fun and at least learnt something.. so i'm happy with their progress..

12pm - 6pm i asked all tjvballers to come back to play.. gals and guys.. all mixed.. played non-stop.. even when some of us when for lunch.. there was still enough ppl to play.. so i would consider this a very good attendance.. even lisi came.. surprised.. hahaa.. i believe many players liked the atmostphere they were playing in.. stressfree.. just play.. actually this shld be the mentality they bring into compeitive matches.. cos that's when they will perform..

went dinner with wanyang, eileen, lihui and jass at bedok hawker.. ate the huge watermelon ice together.. it's been awhile since we ate that.. really gotta introduce that to the younger ones.. great dessert to have after trainings and games... we went around looking for a fitting cable formy laptop to connect to my TV.. so that we can watch spiderlilies online.. we combed bedok and couldnt find anything.. so we ended up at eastpoint challenger.. bought something which i thought was able to fit.. but i was wrong.. damn sad...

in the end they came to my place.. yanli was already at my place.. all cramped in my room and watched on my sis's macbook which has a bigger screen den my laptop.. the show was quite tough to understand.. especially cos i was online at the same time.. hahaa...

me and yanli went for supper after the show.. beef horfun.. yumzZ.. it's been along time since i had it.. it still tastes quite good.. but the portion size has shrunk drastically... and the price has risen too.. quite sad about that.. and the new coffeeshop owner doesnt allow us to order tau huay from next door.. that explains y the shop is quite empty compared to before..
