A long story about a lightning fast love at first sight between 2 individuals. The story begins pre-Sept11, and when all seems to be flowing towards a happy ending, fate steps in and brings them Sept11. But that's not the end, fate seems to like to visit this ill-fated couple more than others.
The good thing about such romance flicks, it's not difficult to act it well, you just need to have experience in love, and nowadays, who doesnt?? especially people who looked like them!!
However, it's still a touching story, and I liked the final seemingly happy ending.

John Tyree: Our story has 3 parts a beginning, a middle and an end and although this is the way all stories unfold I still cant believe ours didnt go on forever.

One of my abilities I seemed to have developed is to be able to see from different angles. Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's just bothersome. There isnt always time to share with friends. So this is where I vent. Simple as that. Just for sharing. Don't take it to heart!!

G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra
Watched on 8 Aug 2009 @ Cineleisure lvl 6
This is a cool movie to watch. Nothing much in the effects that's new or exciting, but it does remind me of a modern version of the mummy. Notice the way the nanomites eat away everything, just like the scarabs in the mummy series.
This movie has a hugely popular cast, that alone would be quite an attraction. Marlon Wayans plays Ripcord, a joker character in the movie, bright spark actually. Like his performance and interaction with Scarlet a lot.
There will be sequels, and i'm looking forward to them.

Favourite Lines:
Duke: Ok, that was crazy... What happened to you?
Ripcord: I went through the train. What happened to you?
Duke: I jumped over it.
Ripcord: [pause] You can do that?
Duke: Yeah, you should have read the instruction manual.
Ripcord: This thing has an instruction manual!?

Public Enemies
Watched on 26 July 2009 @ GV Marina
This movie is based on a true story. And perhaps cos this story is so true, it gets kindda boring. I had expected this show to be a great battle of wits and epic confrontations between Agent Melvin Purvis, the beginnings of FBI and John Dillinger, public enemy #1.
John Dillinger, played by Johnny Depp in this show, well Johnny Depp is still hell of an actor. The way he plays this character. You remember him for this character, not Jack Sparrow, not the choco factory guy, but just John Dillinger, a wanted criminal. The #1 public enemy, which in this show seems like public favourite for than enemy.
The time was during the Great Depression, the americans liked the outlaws more than the government, who kindda sucked at that point in time.
Aside from great acting from all of the actors, there really aint much twists or turns in this story, so in the end it felt like I've just watched a documentary rather than a movie. The bad guy aint that smart after all. Cos they all die.

Favourite Lines:
John Dillinger: I was raised on a farm in Morrisville, Indiana. My mama ran out on us when I was three, my daddy beat the hell out of me cause he didn't know no better way to raise me. I like baseball, movies, good clothes, fast cars, whiskey, and you... what else you need to know?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John Dillinger: We don't work with people we don't know. And you don't work when your desperate. Walter Dietrich. Remember that?
John 'Red' Hamilton: Walter forgot. When your desperate, that's when you got no choice.
