Day 29 of Work & Travel - Off to Bozeman

Asked for off today so that i could go Bozeman. Actually there's really nothing much for me to do there. But i'm quite glad i came. Dorothy our co-worker drove me, su and her boyfriend, Bian Shang Zhi to Bozeman. Dorothy is very nice, it is her off day, she had almost no purpose in Bozeman but she offered to take us there on a trip anyway.

We had hail coming down on us when we reached Bozeman, luckily it ended pretty soon or else it would have been a really bad weather to be in. We only had one simple aim when we reached Bozeman. Look for Ross, a shop that sells branded stuff cheaply. After wandering around for a while, we finally found it. That was not before we went to Sears for lunch. There was a foodcourt there and it has chinese food, so i had that for lunch. Pretty good. :)

Ross was tough to find, but when we got there, we had a good time looking for stuff we would wanna buy. Most of the stuff there are branded and cheap, the only downside was a lack of selection. I got myself 2 pairs of NIKE shorts, wanted to get a pair of shoes too, but the design i wanted did not have my size and none of those shoes my size are anything close to what i want.

There was a Target store next to the Ross store, and we went there next. More shopping and i bought a Spalding volleyball, an air pump and some snacks. Target is a better store than Walmart is you ar elooking for brands, walmart has really cheap prices but there's no famous brands on sale or something. They had a whole beach volleyball court set on sale, and only 45USD. I was so tempted to get it. :p

We made our way back after that, it was quite an exciting way back. First we reallyed we had a punctured tire and had to change it at a mechanic shop nearby. As we made our way to west Yellowstone, there was snow, rain and hail. We also saw lots of bisons along the way which was pretty awesome. It's either seeing them in herds or seeing them really close to the car.

We had dinner dinner at west yellowstone, ate in a chinese restaurant cos dorothy said she liked it. And her favourite was egg drop soup, which is bascially "dan hua tang" to us. but she liked it. We ordered a few other dishes as well, and it was not expensive. We treated her to dinner after she had spend the day bring us all the way to Bozeman.

I had a great day.
