Day 33 of Work & Travel - LoneStar Geyser

I slept thru the bulk of the day cos last nite's dancing and staying up really tired me out. And i'm glad i had the day off to sleep in. :) It was a much need sleep after a few days of lack of it.

The first thing i did after waking up was to take some photos of MY car!! :) It's a a 1992, Ford Taurus. It's a really good car and i realise i can legally take up to 8 ppl in the car, how cool is that?

Din really have much of plan about where to go initially, was suppose to go somewhere with annie, but it seems she left without me. but the day has not ended yet. I went for dinner and met Lorraine and Su there, and we decided to take a hike to LoneStar geyser. It turned out to be a great trip.

The hike was easy, mostly flat ground all the way with huge and obvious paths to walk on, so we wouldnt get lost. It's a cool forest trail to walk on and when we finally reach our destination, it only took us like an hour of leisure pace walking. But that's not the greatest part, the greatest part is that we were kindda just in time for the next geyser eruption. The eruption was fantastic, it was not as tall as the old faithful but the jet is very clear and strong, looks simply majestic and it went on for about 20mins before toning down. We took loads of pictures there, but i did not use my camera cos it's kindda injured from last nite. I lost the small metal piece which protects my lens. :P

OK, back to the lonestar, the geyser is really quite cool. From one side of the cone, it kindda looks like an old man. See the pics below, these 2 are not in fotopic, check out fotopic for other photos we took there. :)
