Day 34 of Work & Travel - Fairy Falls

Slept thru most of today as well, just felt really really tired. Din feel like waking up at all, so i slept thru all the way. Thru mornig, thru breakfast, thru lunch. Only woke up just before it was time to go hiking.

It's fairy falls today, drove to the start of fairy falls trail. That really shortened the trail a lot, perhaps alittle too much. It took us less than an hr to reach the falls from our car. And the hike there was pretty easy, not much up or down hill. Not that i'm complaining, cos my ankle hasnt recovered to 100% yet.

There were 7 of us on this trip, Shawn & Lorraine,Dawn & Puiee, Su & BSZ and me. highest capacity in the car so far, but we could still take one more. Shawn was the driver this time. I still like driving more then being a passenger.

The view of fairy falls is really very pretty, much better than wat we had at mystic falls. It was a really steep cliff and the water fell from quite a height. There were a few marmots running around and climbing up the cliffs, they are fantastic rock climbers!!

We took quite a few nice pictures there, luckily most of the photos in my camera turned out quite ok. Some of them had horizontal parallel lines in them making it look like being seen thru a fence. i'm going down bozeman soon to get my camera fixed if possible. :p

We had xtra time on our hands so we went back to the car and proceeded to midway geyser basin next. It was and even shorter walk, 20mins and we are done. There was this spring there called the Grand Prismatic Spring. REALLY huge, but to really enjoy the full view of it, you gotta take a helicopter to see it totally. But we dun have that luxury, i tried going up a hill to have a better view but it wasnt much better. Still slightly better than on flat ground though. :P

Super tired, today actually, sweat quite a bit but it was not that tough. Perhaps it because the temperature is rising already. Summer is really here, lots of flies and mosquitoes and other bugs are starting to appear.

But as the sun sets and the temperature drops, the insect disappeared. I'm starting to love the cold instead. :P
